About The Game
Songs of Syx is a city-planning strategy for managing an empire with tactical and role-playing elements. The game takes place in a dark world inspired by Scandinavian mythology. You will start playing the classic settlement simulator, looking after its inhabitants and managing resources. Grow crops (taking into account winter and summer and changing weather), produce goods and take care of your subjects. As the settlement grows into a city of many thousands (tens of thousands of inhabitants – a record for the genre), you have to focus on intrigue in the state, inflation, trade relations, alliances, vassals and conquest.
The developer is inspired by games such as Dungeon Keeper, Dink Smallwood, Caesar II, Myth, Rome Total War, Dwarf Fortress, and Conan the Barbarian.
