About The Game

If someone was absolutely unbearable during life, then you can’t expect anything good from the ghost of this person. Barno Herx is just one of these people: the annoying guy not only refused to die, but returned from the grave in the form of a lich, and now a specially trained hero must go down to his very lair and insistently (and also with fire and sword) convince the annoying half-corpse to go to another world. The problem is that the Baron, of course, is trapped in a randomly generated maze full of monsters, traps, mysterious messages, puzzles and, of course, treasures. Death will lie in wait for you around every corner, but don’t be afraid, call a couple of friends into the cooperative mode: it’s more fun to die together!

Barony tells the story of a sorcerer named Baron Herx who acquired eternal existence in the afterlife, who during his lifetime terrorized the population of a tiny town called Hamlet, and now settled in huge underground palaces, nicknamed the Devil’s Bastion. You are a solo hero or a member of a party of adventurers who will have to descend into the abode of the immortal sorcerer and challenge him right in his hellish lair. It depends only on you whether you will perish in the winding corridors, like many others before you, or defeat the Baron and the fiends of the Underworld under his control.

Barony is a first-person, co-op, 3D roguelike inspired by classics like Nethack, Ultima Underworld, System Shock and Daggerfall. The high difficulty of this game has become its calling card and is sure to please every dungeon explorer.
