About The Game

Rebel Cops is a spin-off of This Is the Police, entirely dedicated to turn-based tactical operations. Lead a squad of ragged cops in rebellion against the criminal government and see how long you can hold out when supplies are constantly in short supply, and a single bullet can cost your fighter his life.

You are not quite the police, but only you are now defending the law
Viktor Zuev, a cruel crime boss, captured Ripton in a matter of weeks, subjugating the local elite and even the police department. With the help of blackmail and threats, Zuev keeps the whole city in fear. The only ones who dared to oppose him were a small detachment of former policemen who refused to serve the new government and handed over their badges. The goal is to send Viktor Zuev to jail. The chances are slim, but the townspeople have no one else to rely on.
Gunfights are fun, but stealth is still more reliable.
You are in a guerrilla war, the bandits have a lot more people and supplies. So carefully move from cover to cover, quietly catch criminals one at a time and try to handcuff them before they have time to raise the alarm. At your disposal is a set of non-lethal weapons and equipment, as well as special tactical perks that are unlocked as your fighters level up. Sometimes it will not be possible to avoid shootings, but in such situations it is better to be doubly careful: neither the criminals nor the cops have health points. The wounded will quickly bleed out and die, and a headshot means instant death.
Explore sandbox levels and steal from thieves
Rebel Cops not only has compact operations where you have to fight for every inch of space, but also large locations open for exploration – the so-called sandbox levels. Search rooms, crack safes and vaults, get into inaccessible areas and try to steal as much valuable things from criminals as possible. Keep the cops together so they cover each other – or take the risk of spreading them around the location and trying to look into every corner.
Is it possible to defeat crime without becoming a criminal?
Zuev’s ruthlessness is the basis of his power. Can you win without resorting to his own methods? Will you comply with the requests of desperate townspeople if it could jeopardize the entire operation? Will you spare the civilian guards who are just doing their job but got in your way? Some believe that in war all means are good, but do not forget: reputation is more valuable than money. Disgruntled residents of Ripton can easily mix your good name with dirt. Merchants will be reluctant to do business with you, and even your own fighters may turn their backs on you.
