About The Game

Tahira: Echoes of the Astral Empire is a tactical turn-based RPG, its events take place in a world that has returned to the dark Middle Ages after the collapse of a great civilization that once conquered space.

You will accompany Tahira, the 20-year-old princess of Avestan, on her most difficult campaign and battles to save her people from the cruel and bloodthirsty Astral Empire.

Large-scale turn-based tactical battles using guerrilla warfare tactics await you, including ambushing enemies, using cover and knocking enemies off cliffs. You will help the princess develop her relationship with her companions, reveal the secrets of those distant days when the stars were within easy reach.

Features of the game:

A world back in the dark ages – Explore a planet that has not yet recovered from the collapse of an empire that once spanned the galaxy. Explore the history of the once advanced world and the ancient space travelers who discovered it.
Turn-based guerrilla warfare – control a unit of up to 20 characters in tactical turn-based battles against a large army of the Astral Empire. To even out the odds, you’ll have to exploit your surroundings, ambush, hide, and knock enemies off cliffs and rooftops.
No repetitive battles – there are no battles to fill in the game. Each skirmish will allow you to progress through the story. The battles take place over a large area and have several stages, from the defense of the city on three stages to a desperate attempt to save the captured civilians.
More than just battles – you will not be thrown from battle to battle, between battles you have to study the environment, learn Tahira’s thoughts about the world, get to know the people traveling with you.
Near real-time sensations – the events of most of the game take place over the course of one night. The game is designed to give you an experience close to real-time events as you help our heroine through the most difficult night of her life.
Rich set of colorful characters – includes Baruti, General of Avestan; Talon and Hammer, a pair of mercenaries trying to pay off Avestan’s 20-year-old debt; and Ibu, Tahira’s faithful horse.
Tactics for Beginners and Experts – With four difficulty settings, Tahira caters to both gamers interested in the game’s plot, seasoned veterans of tactical battles, thirsty for a severe test of strength, and the average.
