About The Game

You are a lonely alien stranded on an unfamiliar planet far from home. Your ship, like your dreams of traveling to distant stars, has been badly damaged. Now you have to start all over again: build a house, kill aggressive natives, and perhaps even found your own colony. Once you fix your trusty ship, galaxies of possibilities open up to quench your thirst for adventure on a cosmic scale.

Like the resourceful hero of their game, the developers at Chucklefish painstakingly created and developed Starbound, actively listening to the gaming community at all stages of development. And here is the final version of the game – with a rich storyline campaign, fantastic characters, challenging bosses and limitless possibilities for creating items. All of this is available in online cooperative mode (moreover, players can gather into a team and disperse without consequences for the gameplay), and tools for modifying the game will allow each member of the community to make their own contribution to this almost limitless universe.

How to Download & Install Starbound Linux Game

Click the Download link below and you should already have installed a download client on your system.
Notification will pop and say “that our site wants to open this application”. Click the button to open the client to let the download begin and wait for it to finish.
Once Game Starbound for linux is done downloading, Extract (Unzip) “*******.tar.gz” -if you encounter this file- (To do this you must know how extract .tar.gz Files using Linux Command Line here).
Right click the ./start.sh, select “Properties”, go to the “Permissions” tab, mark the file as executable. Then just treat it more or less like one of those Setup.exe’s on Windows. Double-click it to run it.
