About The Game

The original Day of the Tentacle was released in 1993 and is a sequel to Ron Gilbert’s classic Maniac Mansion . Day of the Tentacle is a mind-blowing cartoon puzzle and time travel quest in which three friends must work together to prevent the evil mutated purple tentacle from taking over the world!

Now, more than twenty years later, Day of the Tentacle is back in a remastered edition with hand-drawn high-definition graphics, remastered sound, music and effects. The player can switch back and forth between classic and remastered modes, and separately for graphics, sound and interface in any combination that his heart desires. The game also includes a concept art gallery, as well as a track of comments from original creator Tim Schafer and five other developers: Dave Grossman, Larry Ahern, Peter Chan, Peter McConnell and Clint Bajakian.

Day of the Tentacle is a cult classic of the genre. And this remastered edition was made with all the care and attention that only the original creators of the game could give it.
